Female Rock Singer-Songwriter hailing from the streets of Chicago. Elements of 90's Rock influence.
Jenny Franck is a rising star in the alternative/grunge scene, with an ever growing passion for music. Her love first started with the piano, evolving to guitar. Her signature sound is heavy with a twist of grunge and voice that captures the soul. Her inspirations have influenced her direction. They are rooted from artists like Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Silverchair, Elliot Smith, and Alice in Chains. Her evolution has been personal, musical, and spiritual, in developing her writing along with her collaborative efforts. The passion you hear through her music is done like no other, delivering her life’s events and emotions with such intelligence and grace. She says it in style each and every time through some of the best grunge/punk/rock music on the planet.
One could clearly identify her growth from her very first EP, “Nothing Girl” released in 2005. This was followed by her self-titled EP, self-released in 2009. Her “Unplugged” EP self-released in 2011 went through the same process. The contrast from one to the other is inspiring to say the least. Her growth is palatable as her music begins to change its form, as we are constantly is a state of motion. It’s a natural progression that Jenny Franck has perfected to her audience’s delight.
Jenny Franck’s latest project is still in a state of growth. “Beautiful Lies” which is being produced by Jaben Pennell (he most recently co-produced, mixed and played on the theme song on Jackie Chan’s latest movie, CZ12) is set for release in early 2014. As one might conclude, a few songs may trickle out as fans grow more anxious for this upcoming CD.
One particular song “Black Crows” released through Ingrooves/Universal features Michael James (founder of IndieProMix) on lead guitar. This is one of her songs that tap into a serious, dark place. As the title indicates, it is a symbolic marker to what is holding her down. Lyrically, it is representative of the overall mood of this CD. The fusion of acoustics, electronics and its dark undertone is one of many powerful moments of this song. The chorus becomes a crescendo, taking you into the darkest point of the song. It's comparable to the energy of the ocean's waves. Majestic to witness yet contain such raw power. Jenny’s song grabs you the same way.
Audiences are following her journey from the very beginning to her life today. It’s a ride you shouldn't miss.
Jenny Franck will be touring in 2014. There is no additional information at this time.

Female-fronted power trio takes a Minnesota-nice girl to the edge! With the "Certified Auto Tune Free" frontwoman on bass, the band brings smart writing, strong musicianship, and an organic rock sound. No autotune, no beat detective, no apologies!
There's only one artist in the US backed by the military. And that unique position belongs to Corrin Campbell .
U.S. Army Sergeant Corrin Campbell , in fact. Corrin has been leading a double life for the last 5 years: one as a full-time soldier and another as a DIY independent artist, touring on her limited leave days, recording on the weekends, and working to make a name in the industry.
"I've always wanted to keep the worlds separate, really. I didn't want anyone to think I was exploiting my military service to get ahead in my music career. I wanted to be equally successful at both, and really earn it. But when I was offered this job for the Army, where I was able to play original music and show the public that soldiers are real people, I decided to let them merge - if only for a couple years," says Corrin .
Corrin Campbell and her band The Election released their first EP in May 2008. "It was really a side project; something to do for fun. I didn't expect it to get such a positive response, but we sold enough copies and garnered enough reaction to think, 'Hey, maybe we should really try this'." The band was quickly compared to Paramore, Evanescence, and even Heart and began performing around the Baltimore area.
With the release of Corrin's first full-length 'Game Night' in November 2009, the band's opportunities quickly began to increase - playing everywhere from the steps of the Lincoln Monument in Washington DC to 6th St in Austin, TX; from Artscape in Baltimore to being selected to open Lilith Fair 2010 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. "I never thought that we would be able to create an album that was commercially relevant from my apartment," mused Corrin . "We had such limited time and funds to make it happen; but we've gotten a really unexpected, positive response from fans and within the industry."
As a soldier, Corrin has had extraordinary experiences: she deployed for a year with the 1st Cavalry Division in Operation Iraqi Freedom II; Corrin was selected for and performed with the U.S. Army Soldier Show and toured the continental United States, as well as Korea and Cuba. She performed for troops all over Iraq, even opening for Ted Nugent and Toby Keith on their USO tour through Baghdad.
Corrin has performed for huge audiences, including the National Anthem (as well as pre-game fan plaza performances) for professional sporting events including home games for the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Lakers, Seattle Mariners. She has also performed nationwide at multiple National Hot Rod Association events and the Music City Bowl in Nashville, TN. In 2013 alone, Corrin's audience count exceeded 160,000 live and 10.5 million broadcast.
"I never dreamed that this could possibly be my job for the Army," says Corrin . "I can't wait to see what chapter comes next!"

Formed in April of 2011, Roll It Over immediately began constructing songs comprised of big choruses and catchy guitar riffs. With a sound that takes it's influences from 70's arena rock, 80's progressive music, and 90's alternative rock, the band has worked hard to build a sound that is unique, yet easily accessible.
Over the past few years, the band has managed to build a fan base throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and has shared the stage with many well known acts like Saving Abel, 12 Stones, Hurt, Smile Empty Soul, and Taproot.
The band's debut EP, "Dawning on the Red Streets," was recorded at Fairgreen Studios and features 5 songs including "Memories" and "Once You're Gone" which have received radio play on stations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and South Carolina. Each song was carefully constructed to create atmosphere and feeling, which can be felt through the melodic vocal and guitar arrangements, and the raw energy provided by the bands powerful rhythm section. That, coupled with hard work of producers Kenny Kingsborough and Brian Melvin, led to what the band feels is their finest work to date. The band strives to create powerful, catchy music that everyone can be immersed in. It's easy to be labeled as a certain genre but Roll It Over aims to bend those rules and incorporate any and all styles of music into it's ever-growing sound. With tour dates lined up though out Spring and Summer 2013, and a full length album in the works, Roll It Over is force to be reckoned with.
'Dawning on the Red Streets' EP is now available on all Major Digital Retailers including Itunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Zune.

Jim Morris is an enigmatic guitar player and composer who is making his mark on the shredder scene with his unique style of instrumental rock fusion. With the release of his powerfully melodic third album "Melodrama," Jim celebrates instrumental rock with power and precision.
Jim started playing guitar at the age of thirteen. Under the instruction of Bud Hanus of Huber and Breese Music Studio, Jim studied blues, flat picking, rock, and shred while developing his unparalleled picking style. Additional studies in music theory and four-part harmony with Alfred Marco fused Jim’s outstanding abilities with classical composition. Jim’s musicianship courses with Jim Ohrt taught him to play with discipline and creativity in an ensemble setting while using his technical skills and harmonic understanding to create contemporary instrumental voicing. Jim’s skills were first recognized when he was selected to perform with the Michigan All State Jazz Band in 1988. Since that time, Jim has been able to work as a professional guitarist with ease.
Playing professionally has afforded Jim the opportunity to pursue his interest in the art of composing and recording instrumental fusion. Beginning in 1993 thru present day, Jim is continuing to churn out what has now become a massive library of music. Jim began collaborating with producer/engineer Jim Taro of Taroland Studios and drummer/percussionist Al Towle in 2002. This combination forged three album releases, " Jim Morris Band " in 2004, "Lamentia" in 2008 and "Melodrama" in 2013.
The ability to create unforgettable melodies and merge them with complete orchestral movements using his own unique guitar voice has led to Jim Morris making a name for himself on the instrumental guitar scene.

We've taken elements of various punk and metal bands to make fast, hard, politically infused post punk over beats made on a old games console. With live guitar and elements of rap, pop and electro.
There’s two of us. We have a room full of dust and out of date, half functioning equipment we’ve put together to form what we lovingly refer to as “ The Machine ” An old stereo connected to a VCR for direct film sampling, a Boss BR 352 portable mixing desk used as a four track, stereo to make audio tapes converted by a low tech device to computer to audio files and at it’s heart a obsolete Games Console used to code and program. My band mate’s Trent Water's guitar riffs are mechanised perfection while my half rapped, half sung vocals are raw and the overall sound is low-fi and necessary. As the world falls apart we take a heavy mix of metal, punk, industrial, hip hop and even Emo to make a d.i.y sound first influenced by Atari Teenage Riot and the late great Refused but have since split from both their political stances. Plug in and enjoy.

The guitarist discusses the group's forthcoming album and plays with them tonight at Comic-Con after-party
Today marks the 31st anniversary of Metallica 's debut album, Kill 'Em All , but guitarist Kirk Hammett will be celebrating his pre- Kill 'Em All life by jamming with his first band, Exodus, at his "Fear FestEvil After Party" tonight at the San Diego Comic-Con International. The gig is an extension of sorts of Hammett's onstage reunion with the band at his Fear FestEvil in February , where he played their song "Piranha" and a cover of Blue Öyster Cult's "Godzilla" with them. Now, he's saying that onstage reunion led to something bigger: "I play a guitar solo on the new Exodus album," he tells Rolling Stone .
The 10 Best Metallica Songs, as Chosen by Rolling Stone Readers
The guitarist reports that after hanging out with founding Exodus drummer Tom Hunting and guitarist Gary Holt, the opportunity came up to play on a song called "Salt in the Wound." "It felt really casual, really cool – just like it did back in 1980 when we were all just hanging out back in the day," Hammett says. "Me, recording a solo on their album was a huge thing for me. Other than the Exodus demo that's been heard by a lot of people, it's the only time I ever recorded with Exodus. It was a huge thing for me."
As for the song itself – which will appear on a record that features the return of Steve Souza, the band's vocalist in the late Eighties and early Nineties – Hammett says it has a "super heavy" riff. "I play a pretty cool solo, and then Gary comes in and plays another solo, and you know what?" Hammett asks. "I listened to that and thought, 'Wow, it's 1982 all over again and here we are, Gary and I are trying to cut each other's heads off with our guitar solos.' Nothing has changed much in the last 30 years. I love it. I love those guys. I've only known them for most of my life, so I'm really happy that I finally got to record with them."
Additionally, Hammett expects the Exodus concert tonight to be a "good old time," as both he and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, as well as other unannounced guests, will be joining the band for a unique set. "We're going to be playing 10 or 12 cover songs, but Rob and I are adamant about not playing the usual cover songs that everyone else plays, like 'Communication Breakdown,'" the guitarist says. "People are going to be expecting a bunch of heavy-metal cover songs. There's going to be some of that, but Rob and I, we like to stretch out a little bit so we'll be playing some different stuff, too. We're gonna be playing 'The Real Me' by the Who , which is a song both Rob and I love. And we're going to get funky and play [Kool and the Gang's] 'Jungle Boogie.'"
Exodus "Piranha" with Kirk Hammett 2/7/14
Hammett reports that the supergroup will be playing at least one metal classic, though: Ozzy Osbourne 's 1981 song "Diary of a Madman," which Metallica played acoustically at the MusiCares benefit honoring the Black Sabbath singer earlier this year. "I've been jonesing to play that on electric," Hammett says. "Every time we played it acoustic, I've been itching to play it the way I remember hearing it, which is the full-on electric, Randy Rhoads version. Finally I'm going to get my wish and will be playing with Rob and Tom Hunting from Exodus and other people, and it's going to be great."
Hammett's main reason for attending Comic-Con this year is the expansion of his Kirk Von Hammett Toys line, which makes figures of Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and, of course, horror enthusiast Hammett in their most iconic horror poses. This year, the guitarist has introduced a zombie figure of himself, which he'll be signing at the convention today and tomorrow.
"It's something that's just really fun for me to do," he says. "I've been a big collector of toys most of my life. Making them helps give me a perspective on what I love, which is horror. I'm really having a lot of fun with all of it. I'm going to be doing the toy line for a while. We're putting out maybe two to three pieces a year."
Metallica Share Bloopers From ESPN Commercial
Hammett's other deep dive into horror was his 2012 book Too Much Horror Business , which featured photos of his extensive collection of horror memorabilia. Although he had previously said he had plans on making another one, he tells Rolling Stone that he has more pressing matters at the moment. "The band needs to make an album," the guitarist says. "That's the big adventure that's looming up on the horizon. Making an album is always a bit like scaling a mountain, but this time it seems like the more we wait, the bigger the mountain gets. And now that we've been playing so long, it seems like that mountain is as big as the Himalayas right now." He laughs.
Earlier this year, Metallica debuted a new song, "Lords of Summer," on their Metallica by Request tour of South America and Europe (it will wrap with an appearance at Montreal's Heavy MTL fest in August). Hammett says the band looks at that song as the starting point for the new record. "Whether the songs will actually sound like 'Lords of Summer' or not remains to be seen, because we still have to write them, but that's the general direction we're headed in," he says. "I want to make a quick album, but I just know that's not realistic."
