Asbury Park, NJ (November 21, 2025) Popular New Jersey rockers, Katye Kellye and the Interruption, announce the release of their new pop-punk holiday single, "How Can We Keep Christmas?".
"Holidays are harder than ever, with many families separated by political beliefs and a realization that perhaps the ties that bind are mere biology, not ideology - or even values" says songwriter and lead singer, Katye Kellye. "How Can We Keep Christmas?" gives a voice to those who won't be spending the holidays with people they don't feel they know anymore.

Katye Kellye is a sharp, emotionally resonant songwriter. After a long hiatus following her time with the punk band Toxic Shox, Katye returned to music in 2019 with renewed purpose, releasing Vanity Project, her first EP in over 35 years. John Sykes, a former member of both Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake, has died at age 65. An official statement confirmed that Sykes had been diagnosed with cancer.
"He will be remembered by many as a man with exceptional musical talent but for those who didn't know him personally, he was a thoughtful, kind and charismatic man whose presence lit up the room," according to the statement. "He certainly marched to the beat of his own drum and always pulled for the underdog."
Sykes appeared on Thin Lizzy's harder-edged 1983 album Thunder and Lightning, the group's Top 5 U.K. hit studio finale with the late frontman Phil Lynott. Sykes then joined Whitesnake for a two-album mid-'80s stint that began with the reworked 1984 edition of Slide It In.
