Heavy AmericA is an all original alternative hard rock band based in Boston, Massachusetts and comprised of three members:
Mike Seguin- Guitars, Lead Vocals, Keys
Dan Fried- Drums, Percussion, Vocals
Budd Lapham- Bass, Vocals
Formed in 2013, Mike, Dan and Budd brought together their years of experience and influences to create a truly unique band with a sound as gritty as the Boston streets that inspire them. Fed up with the infinite repeat of bubble gum and corporate rock music that plagues the airways, they decided to be a band to bring forth the change so desperately needed in rock music today.
Their "keep it simple" formula has resulted music that is full of energy and raw emotion. A "rollercoaster ride with plateaus of happiness and cliffs of terror." So open your ears and your mind to the new sound you've been searching for.... Heavy AmericA !

After leaving my hometown of Detroit to chase the dream, I arrived in Covina California in 2000. Hooking up with former members of The Wicked and other well known LA musicians we formed Outraged. After making two CD's playing until 2005, I was approached by former members of Sanctuary to form Ironworks. Ironworks enjoyed a brief stent in the sunshine playing good venues in San Diego until 2010. After a four year hiatus I have chosen to put this project together..... Killing Tyranny is born. Excited I am pleased to announce Killing Tyranny’s debut CD Martyr is done. Influenced by the great heavy metal bands Priest, Maiden, Helloween, Fates Warning, Megadeth, and others this CD has proven to be a surprise to all! Recently reviewed in issue #178 Power Play Magazine, as well as many Heavy Metal/Rock Blogs!

Weesp was formed in 2008 in Minsk by Lex (vocals), Mi (bass) and Mike (guitar). Guys were playing covers, did tons of experiment with sound and were trying to form unique style of a band.
"We wanted to be recognized by our sound right from the start", says Mi.
In 2010 Gul joined the band as permanent drummer and Stak (Mi's twin brother) took place behind the electronics. The team was complete and ready to rock. By 2015, Weesp recorded three EPs and gave quite a number of conerts in Belarus and bunch of European countries.
In August 2015 the band released their first full album The Void. It features few tracks, done in collaboration with Cory Brandan from Norma Jean, and overall the album received positive feedback from fans and reviewers. It's interesting that band did not use any samples in album recording, but instead invited other musicians to record live music. This is why you can hear, for example, saxophone in "Livan" track.
"We do it oldschool-style", admits Lex, "because we want the music to be sincere. Maybe it's the hard way, but that's how we do it".

Serial Obsession ' is an NYC based mainstream/radio friendly Rock band combining old school high energy guitar driven rock with a modern /alternative melodic approach to songwriting
Obsession: The total and complete domination of one’s thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image, desire…or ROCK’N’ROLL
New York City’s Serial Obsession is a band that would sound right at home had it emanated from the sleazy Sunset Strip of the late 80‘s early 90s Hollywood where Guns N’ Roses and Motley Crue first held court. Yet they’re on the other coast, bashing away with their stylistic synthesis of hard rock, glam, grunge, classic rock and metal, all with a punk attitude, all original, and instantly memorable as hell. In an era where new, young, exciting, melodic rock bands have decidedly taken a back seat, Serial Obsession dredges up the kind of glory that came with the likes of Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver and KISS yet has faded into distant memory.
Until now.
With the release of their 2015 ,4 song EP “Pull The Pin”, Serial Obsession takes their influences from the past and injects a modern attitude that is pointed towards the future.
Singer Shawn Sugrue has the kind of voice that stops traffic. Emotional, passionate, his pipes are only exceeded by his stage presence. He’s the visual magnet. Bassist Jason Rosin joins with drummer T Motts as the anchor, the tightest rhythm section in town, one that will give your sub-woofer a real work-out. Guitarist Andrew Kadar is under the radar now, but watch out! He’s a six-stringed hero, well-versed in his forebears enough to assimilate the aesthetic of Van Halen/Slash/Page into his own unique captivating style.
Ultimately, words are meaningless, you have to hear them, see them, feel them. They get under your skin. It’s in the almighty riff, the hummable melodies and the attitude. Their bombast is infectious. Audiences at Irving Plaza, CBGB, BB King’s, The Highline Ballroom and Terminal 5 in Manhattan know. So do crowds in Brooklyn, Ithaca, Syracuse and Connecticut.
Serial Obsession is on a mission to bring back the kind of rock that rolls with soul and doesn’t mind getting up and in your face so that you’ll be reminded of the heights that this great music of ours—rock’n’roll—can still achieve.
They say that there is no obsession like a Serial Obsession . One listen and you’ll be obsessed. Mike GreenBlatt-Rock Journalist

Every day a man gets up in the morning, takes the car, goes to work, comes home in the evening and goes back to bed...
Every... Fucking... Day...
As the music and lyrics of Resurrecturis’ fourth album unfold, this tiny, insignificant non-story turns into an existentialist voyage through the grim realities of today’s office work and company life. A fate shared by millions of people worldwide.
The album-title, “Nazienda”, a neologism that merges the words “nazism” and “azienda” (Italian for company, corporation), sets a tone that is tragic and ironic at the same time. Just listen to the song “10:30 Animals in the meeting room”: solid and fierce metallic extremism with crazy animal verses going cuckoo!!!
The songs run through the routine of a typical working day, each number even bearing an indication of the hour in the title: from the irritating buzz of the alarm early in the morning until the character slips into unconsciousness on the couch in front of the TV. In-between a flood of annoying phone calls, company meetings, work on the PC, solidarity among colleagues and introspective reflections.
Resurrecturis began in 1990 and has been around in some form ever since. Over the years they toured with the likes of Vital Remains, Macabre, Impaled Nazarene and released 3 albums and a handful of minor releases.
Today the band is more than everything the expression of founding member, Carlo Strappa, one of Italy’s extreme metal prime movers (his Lethal Metal Zine dates back to mid 80's).
HIGHLIGHTS:
- produced and engineered by Alessandro Vagnoni (Dark Lunacy, Bologna Violenta, Infernal Poetry, Darkside).
- front cover by renamed Italian artist Daniele Cudini.
- "Nazienda - Graphic Novel" written by Carlo Strappa and drawn by Albano Scevola also available.
- guest guitar on the song “16:59 Never happy” by Ferruccio Quercetti of Italy’s rock’n'roll legends Cut (Go Down Rds).
- videoclip for the song “06:30 The alarm”.
- lyric video for the song “19:12 Two half lives don't make one”.
- song “13:00 Lunch break alienation” included in “StreetCult Vol 24” promo compilation. 10.000 copies distributed in the US.
- 4 song ep with acoustic versions of Resu-songs also in the making.
