Vince Gelonese Press Release
VINCE GELONESE ENTERS A NEW CHAPTER WITH ORIGINAL COUNTRY MUSIC
Italian-born, Australian-raised singer-songwriter Vince Gelonese is stepping into an exciting new chapter, bringing decades of live performance experience into a growing catalogue of original country music.
A classically trained vocalist with a powerful and distinctive voice, Gelonese blends country, rock and heartfelt storytelling, writing songs inspired by love, relationships and real-life experiences.
His latest release, “Radio,” showcases that storytelling approach, following a musician who sees a woman in a small-town bar and, although they never meet, writes a song hoping she will one day hear it on the radio.
Gelonese previously achieved international chart recognition with “Every Dream” and continues to perform with The Memphis Cowboys.
With new original material underway and his sights firmly set on Australia, Nashville and international audiences, Vince Gelonese is building the next chapter of a musical career that is far from finished.

VINCE GELONESE
Born in Italy and raised in Australia, Vince Gelonese is a singer-songwriter and live performer whose music brings together country, rock, blues and roots with the passion and melody of his Italian heritage.
Vince’s musical journey began at an early age. Performing in bands from the age of 16, he developed into a powerful and distinctive vocalist, combining years of live experience with classical vocal training. His musical background has crossed genres and cultures—from rock and country to Italian and European music—giving him a sound and stage presence that are unmistakably his own.
Over the years, Vince has performed extensively across Australia, fronting bands and major themed productions and building a reputation as an engaging live entertainer. Today, he fronts The Memphis Cowboys, bringing together accomplished musicians with a high-energy country-rock sound.
Vince first gained international attention with his 2013 single “Every Dream.” The release achieved significant success in the United States, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart and remaining on the chart for more than 20 weeks—an important milestone for an independent Australian artist.
After years devoted to performing, business and supporting his family, Vince has returned his focus to what has always driven him creatively: writing and recording original music.
In August 2026, he released “Radio,” a story-driven country song about a musician playing guitar in a small-town bar who notices a woman walk through the door. They never meet, but the moment stays with him, inspiring him to write a song in the hope that one day, wherever she may be, she will hear it playing on the radio.
That combination of storytelling, melody and emotion is at the heart of Vince Gelonese’s music.
His songs draw from love, relationships, life experience, spirituality, humour and the lessons accumulated over a lifetime. His Australian upbringing and Italian heritage sit alongside the influences of American country and rock, creating music that can move naturally between Nashville, Australia and Europe.
For Vince, this chapter isn’t about looking backwards. It is about taking decades of experience and turning them into something new.
With an expanding catalogue of original songs, Vince Gelonese and The Memphis Cowboys are building toward a bigger international audience, with Nashville and the United States firmly in sight while Vince’s Italian heritage provides a natural connection to European audiences.
From “Every Dream” on the Billboard charts to “Radio” carrying his story into a new era, Vince Gelonese is an artist whose journey is still being written.
