"Pure magic, exceptional, brilliant, superb: perfect in EVERY respect."--Coquet-Shack.com
"[Dialtone] have a decided garage punk edge that glories in poking fun at the foibles of modern society and do so with good garage-y hooks and sly humor. A solid simple rocker, 'Two Left Feet' has a Violent Femmes vibe to it, especially in Orea's vocal tude. Sarcasm suffuses 'Simon Le Bon,' taking the retro-'80s crowd to task. 'Do You Love Your Cell Phone?' has terrific guitar bit and is the most memorable chorus here. The band's songs beg for video treatment." - Music Connection Magazine
[Dialtone's] been jamming together for about two years and have devised a simple, unpretentious, straightforward style of 'New Wave-Grunge-Disco-Punk' rock that has a vinyl, nostalgic air. The music is a little fuzzy 'round the edges and the band has a lighthearted approach that is refreshing. Their name, Dialtone (as opposed to ringtones), even hearkens back to older times. So, they've got a vintage sound while singing about the detriments of modern technology. A nice contrast. The title track, 'No Hang-Ups,' is a bright song, with a nice shuffle on the snare drum throughout and some distorted guitar picking. It starts with the lament: “Always on your telephone/even when we're all alone” but seems also to be a good love song about accepting a person as is." - Gray Hunter, Blog Critics Magazine

Song title 'Head in my Hands' by glasswall. "An eclectic mix of funk and rough vocals stylish and sophisticated with a head nodding hook." - Hal Stewart, Broadcaster with the Armys Own Independant Radio Station Garrison 106.9 FM.
'Help for Heroes'
All proceeds from this EP will be donated via www.justgiving.com/glasswallproductions in aid of 'Help for Heroes' in recognition of the courage and selfless commitment of the men and women of our Armed Forces who have been wounded in action whilst serving our country. They all rightly deserve our support and respect!
My musical taste and influences are varied. As a songwriter I write lyrics and compose melodies that are guitar based. The music is upbeat with a punchy baseline, a good drum beat and melodic vocal harmonies.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Arqum Iqbal (310) 896-1649 arqum@arqumiqbal.com www.arqumiqbal.com Don’t Fret - Get Back to the Future! Rock Guitar is revived in one single Jam Session! LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (09/06/08) - So you love Steve Vai and your iPod has Satriani's Time Machine loaded in a desperate attempt to relive the days of these super-talented Rock guitarists? You still remember when mainstream music didn't drown these masters out with mediocrity.
You believe those days have all vanished right? All you are left with are dusty memories of Peavey's and posters of Beck, Paige and Hendrix packed carefully away in a corner in your mind? Think again! A brand new instrumental Rock guitarist is about to change all that. Arqum Iqbal is about to inject you with adrenaline and fill your iPod with a fresh new wave of tracks! Don't fret! Get back to the future with Arqum Iqbal's debut CD, Jam Session! Arqum Iqbal is originally from Doncaster, England, but now calls Los Angeles home. He traces the first spark of his blazing musical journey to one single life-changing night. Arqum tells the story, “In 1993 my friends dragged me to see Vai perform at “The Rave” in Milwaukee. The concert changed me in an instant - it was the most amazing display of talent I had ever seen.” The very next day, Arqum bought a guitar and amp for $100.00 and started to teach myself how to play. After years of practice, snapped strings, shredded frets, blown amps, and bloody fingers, Arqum was ready to unleash his talent on the world with his debut - Jam Session. Jam Session was recorded at Imperial Square Music Studios in Santa Fe Springs, California. While Arqum played all instruments and produced the album, he definitely had some talented help. Co-producers Joe Rullo and Keith Shamp added their talents in the studio and were a form of support for Arqum. The tracks within Jam Session tell a story, without words - displaying Iqbal's inherent ability to create an instrumental story. The eleven tracks are more akin to eleven chapters in a musical book. Power and craft emanate throughout the project. The surreal and impending track “Intro” sets the stage for the speed and mood of the rest of the tracks. “Jam Session,” the title track follows with a groovy, beat driven, action-filled guitar feast. Quieter acoustic and more mellow works can be found in “Budha's Dance,” “Mai's Love For,” and “Passion.” Jam Session now available worldwide on iTunes, CDBaby, and the links below. FOR MORE INFO PLEASE VISIT: www.arqumiqbal.com
The tracks within Jam Session seem to tell a story, without words like an instrumental journey through chapters of a book that is different for each listener. However, there's no doubt that power and craft emanate throughout the whole project.
