New York City’s Serial Obsession is a band that would sound right at home had it emanated from the sleazy Sunset Strip of the late 80‘s early 90s Hollywood where Guns N’ Roses and Motley Crue first held court. Yet they’re on the other coast, bashing away with their stylistic synthesis of hard rock, glam, grunge, classic rock and metal, all with a punk attitude, all original, and instantly memorable as hell. In an era where new, young, exciting, melodic rock bands have decidedly taken a back seat, Serial Obsession dredges up the kind of glory that came with the likes of Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver and KISS yet has faded into distant memory.

Until now.

With the release of their 2015 ,4 song EP “Pull The Pin”, Serial Obsession takes their influences from the past and injects a modern attitude that is pointed towards the future.

Singer Shawn Sugrue has the kind of voice that stops traffic. Emotional, passionate, his pipes are only exceeded by his stage presence. He’s the visual magnet. Bassist Jason Rosin joins with drummer T Motts as the anchor, the tightest rhythm section in town, one that will give your sub-woofer a real work-out. Guitarist Andrew Kadar is under the radar now, but watch out! He’s a six-stringed hero, well-versed in his forebears enough to assimilate the aesthetic of Van Halen/Slash/Page into his own unique captivating style.

Ultimately, words are meaningless, you have to hear them, see them, feel them. They get under your skin. It’s in the almighty riff, the hummable melodies and the attitude. Their bombast is infectious. Audiences at Irving Plaza, CBGB, BB King’s, The Highline Ballroom and Terminal 5 in Manhattan know. So do crowds in Brooklyn, Ithaca, Syracuse and Connecticut.

Serial Obsession is on a mission to bring back the kind of rock that rolls with soul and doesn’t mind getting up and in your face so that you’ll be reminded of the heights that this great music of ours—rock’n’roll—can still achieve.

Terra Stigma  is a five piece alternative, grunge rock band from Long Island, NY. They are currently unsigned, but have played with many national recording artists at many of the Long Island and New York City venues.

Terra Stigma  boasts two new hot tracks: “Leave My Body” and “Vital”. “Leave My Body” blends melodic vocals with genuine grunge, metal riffs. The guitar intro is evocative and beautiful, providing an excellent build-up for the powerful vocals to come. It’s a catchy song with honest vocals. The lyrics are emotional, expressive, and sure to please. “Vital” displays the softer side of Terra Stigma. The gritty, raw, and powerful voice of vocalist, Justin Aaron is truly showcased in “Vital”. Lyrically the song portrays themes of hopefulness and promise.

The uplifting lyrics of “Vital” are paired seamlessly with a warm, soulful melody and intricate guitar parts. Both tracks are genuinely delightful to listen to.

This was my first time listening to Terra Stigma , and I was honestly impressed by their work. As a child of the 90’s, grunge is perhaps one of my favorite genres of music. I am so pleased that  Terra Stigma is proving with full force that grunge is alive and well. I hope that someday they can join the ranks of other greats of alternative, metal, and grunge music. I wish them the best of luck on their musical journey and I am enthusiastic to hear what’s next for this great group!

Emerging in early 2011, Attik Door encompasses variety of musical styles to create a unique rock/alternative feel. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists from Led Zeppelin and System of a Down to Sade and Black Eyed Peas, this band will treat you to a unique sound of equal measure melodic and heavy riffs.

The band members all come from the various corners of the former USSR, locking in the culture lost and fusing it with present musical trends. The songs are predominantly done in English, ensuring interest of as wide of an audience as possible.

Lead by solo guitarist Alex, the band consists of Liana on vocals, Rita on bass, Tim on rhythm guitar and Igor behind drums, Attik Door has been performing live all around San Francisco Bay Area.

The seeds of Artwerk began in the band SSP. It featured Gary Siess (drums and vocals) Tim Prince (bass) and Arthur Scrutchins (guitar, keyboard and vocals). They played together across the state of Oklahoma for about three years, sometimes joined by other musicians for performances. Memories of their life on the road are recorded in Artwerk's song "We Know Differently" (track number nine on "Under the Shade of Trees").

In 2009 Scrutchins, Siess and Prince reunited for a jam session and trip down memory lane. Rediscovering the joy of performing again," Artwerk " was born. Since that time, Artwerk has been busy writing, recording and producing three CD's.

Artwerk's debut CD, "Shelf Portrait" contains a lot of material that was written during the 70's and performed by SSP.

Artwerk's second CD, "Under The Shade of Trees" is a great blend of Indie and Acoustic Rock.

Artwerk's third CD, "Son of the Big Red One" has been described as "Innovative Rock that emerged from 70's roots".

Once again, Artwerk has put together another great collection of Indie Rock and Acoustic Rock tracks.

There's only one artist in the US backed by the military. And that unique position belongs to Corrin Campbell .

U.S. Army Sergeant Corrin Campbell , in fact. Corrin has been leading a double life for the last 5 years: one as a full-time soldier and another as a DIY independent artist, touring on her limited leave days, recording on the weekends, and working to make a name in the industry.

"I've always wanted to keep the worlds separate, really. I didn't want anyone to think I was exploiting my military service to get ahead in my music career. I wanted to be equally successful at both, and really earn it. But when I was offered this job for the Army, where I was able to play original music and show the public that soldiers are real people, I decided to let them merge - if only for a couple years," says Corrin .

Corrin Campbell and her band The Election released their first EP in May 2008. "It was really a side project; something to do for fun. I didn't expect it to get such a positive response, but we sold enough copies and garnered enough reaction to think, 'Hey, maybe we should really try this'." The band was quickly compared to Paramore, Evanescence, and even Heart and began performing around the Baltimore area.

With the release of Corrin's first full-length 'Game Night' in November 2009, the band's opportunities quickly began to increase - playing everywhere from the steps of the Lincoln Monument in Washington DC to 6th St in Austin, TX; from Artscape in Baltimore to being selected to open Lilith Fair 2010 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. "I never thought that we would be able to create an album that was commercially relevant from my apartment," mused Corrin . "We had such limited time and funds to make it happen; but we've gotten a really unexpected, positive response from fans and within the industry."

As a soldier, Corrin has had extraordinary experiences: she deployed for a year with the 1st Cavalry Division in Operation Iraqi Freedom II; Corrin was selected for and performed with the U.S. Army Soldier Show and toured the continental United States, as well as Korea and Cuba. She performed for troops all over Iraq, even opening for Ted Nugent and Toby Keith on their USO tour through Baghdad.

Corrin has performed for huge audiences, including the National Anthem (as well as pre-game fan plaza performances) for professional sporting events including home games for the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Lakers, Seattle Mariners. She has also performed nationwide at multiple National Hot Rod Association events and the Music City Bowl in Nashville, TN. In 2013 alone, Corrin's audience count exceeded 160,000 live and 10.5 million broadcast.

"I never dreamed that this could possibly be my job for the Army," says Corrin . "I can't wait to see what chapter comes next!"

Female Rock Singer-Songwriter hailing from the streets of Chicago. Elements of 90's Rock influence.

Jenny Franck is a rising star in the alternative/grunge scene, with an ever growing passion for music. Her love first started with the piano, evolving to guitar. Her signature sound is heavy with a twist of grunge and voice that captures the soul. Her inspirations have influenced her direction. They are rooted from artists like Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Silverchair, Elliot Smith, and Alice in Chains. Her evolution has been personal, musical, and spiritual, in developing her writing along with her collaborative efforts. The passion you hear through her music is done like no other, delivering her life’s events and emotions with such intelligence and grace. She says it in style each and every time through some of the best grunge/punk/rock music on the planet.

One could clearly identify her growth from her very first EP, “Nothing Girl” released in 2005. This was followed by her self-titled EP, self-released in 2009. Her “Unplugged” EP self-released in 2011 went through the same process. The contrast from one to the other is inspiring to say the least. Her growth is palatable as her music begins to change its form, as we are constantly is a state of motion. It’s a natural progression that Jenny Franck has perfected to her audience’s delight.

Jenny Franck’s latest project is still in a state of growth. “Beautiful Lies” which is being produced by Jaben Pennell (he most recently co-produced, mixed and played on the theme song on Jackie Chan’s latest movie, CZ12) is set for release in early 2014. As one might conclude, a few songs may trickle out as fans grow more anxious for this upcoming CD.

One particular song “Black Crows” released through Ingrooves/Universal features Michael James (founder of IndieProMix) on lead guitar. This is one of her songs that tap into a serious, dark place. As the title indicates, it is a symbolic marker to what is holding her down. Lyrically, it is representative of the overall mood of this CD. The fusion of acoustics, electronics and its dark undertone is one of many powerful moments of this song. The chorus becomes a crescendo, taking you into the darkest point of the song. It's comparable to the energy of the ocean's waves. Majestic to witness yet contain such raw power. Jenny’s song grabs you the same way.

Audiences are following her journey from the very beginning to her life today. It’s a ride you shouldn't miss.
